Smart City Planning SCP-2020 is above all a change in the way we use current and future resources.(human resources, man-made resources and natural resources) We are shifting from a "hardware" (built environment) focus to a "software" (Management of resources) approach. I will present a Business case-study: From Education to "Smart Learning Environments". The "Uber-ization" of services highlights a twofold process, on one side the "personalization" of services (user-centered) and on the other, the "collective" benefit (massification). Presentation of an App: "Babel" It will allow a person to Design a "personalized curricula", according to own cognitive skills and learning styles. It will make more flexible, the pace, time spent, budget, place, interaction, and let us choose the topics that are useful in our own context and preferences, the sequence and integration of knowledge, blurring the transition from attending formal "education" to be at the "work-place". It comes a revolution !

The impact surpasses education itself, it will also modify "travel patterns" (home-to-school) and stop looking at "mortar & brick" educational institutions, as the standard resource for getting knowledge. Education is not just related to assets inventory, it is more related to the management of a process to acquire not only skills but also a mindset toward facing uncertainty, updating our knowledge every few days, partnering with people of diverse cultural background, professional field, age, gender, and seeking solutions for emerging needs and challenges.
